Shannon's enthusiasm for wellness comes from a life long struggle with genetics and weight loss. Scaling her heaviest at just over 200 pounds in 1995, she has been working hard to maintain her healthy lifestyle, and inspiring others to love themselves enough to want to feel good and thrive. Previously, an avid runner and intense weight lifter, She has reconciled her intentions to finding a deeper inner peace and genuine presence, by reducing mental and emotional stress and unwinding physical tension with the self reflective, deeply transformational, healing practices of yoga. Shannon Kidwell, developed the brand, Core Integrated Alignment Yoga, to share how moving the body intelligently allows any level of practitioner, applying the appropriate anatomical actions to yoga asana, to receive the full physiological benefits of the practice, with a very reduced risk of injury. She is a Master Pilates & Yoga Instructor and Educator, Personal Trainer, Lifestyle Coach, Leadership Development Trainer, Freshitarian Certified Chef, Nutritional Counselor, and Author of Fit Piglets, Your Guide to the Freshitarian Lifestyle. Warm Yoga 90min Fun Flow
This class offers a heated, playful exploration of our very own brand, Core Integrated Alignment Yoga. Enjoy fun, creative sequencing of postures, transitions, and core work to stretch, squeeze, and soak out the weekend. This extended class integrates breath work, asana, and meditation for the experienced yogi. This is a heated class and the instructor practices with you!
Focus & Flow Foundations Yoga
A technique based, workshop style flow class for both the apprentice yogi and the novice; focusing on effective breath work, alignment and actions of the body, and simple meditation. All ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes welcome!
Warm Yin Yoga (60+min)
Warm Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures or asanas that are held for longer periods of time, from 2 to 5 minutes softening a bit more into the pose as a result of additional warmth of heating elements. A Yin Practice benefits the physical body by freeing up the tight connective tissue capsules that form around the muscles and joints. All levels welcome. Class is 60+ minutes.
All- Levels Yoga Flow (Non-Heated)
Enjoy a contemporary version of Core Integrated Alignment Yoga sequencing. Instruction is innovative and fun with a therapeutic influence and deeply connected intention. Lengthen and strengthen the body; stimulate and clarify your mind; unite and enliven your spirit.
This super fun, alignment based Fit-Camp is for the wellness prospect wanting to tackle their fitness and weight loss challenges. All classes are 60 minutes and will be taught with no equipment. PLEASE BRING YOUR TENNIS SHOES. All shapes, ages, and sizes welcome. Increase muscle tone, strength and flexibility. Improve coordination, circulation, and core stability.
